ABOUT ME

I am a Registered Psychologist with 12+ years of counselling experience with a trauma, somatic and attachment informed lense. Providing services for clients in Lethbridge, Lethbridge County, Coaldale, Magrath, and surrounding areas. My main priority is my client's safety and comfort and I strive every session to create a space to embrace the healing journey. I am in constant pursuit of learning, so you will often find my nose in a book, listening to podcasts or participating in some new and exciting training! When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my family, reading, crafting, outdoors or visiting with friends.

I love all spicy food, sour candy, scary movies, comfortable clothes (including my slippers), nature, sarcasm, and I am a major foodie!

EXPERIENCE

My journey in the helping profession began as a Psychiatric Aide in 2005 where I learned I loved to help others. From 2008 onward I worked with those facing addiction; 2010 began working as an Addictions Consultant for Alberta Health Services. During pursuit of my Masters in Counselling Psychology, I spent 8 months working with Family Violence Treatment Program. Since completion of my Masters, I have sought multiple avenues of training to further my experience with working with a wide variety of specialties and continue to do so.

As a wife and mother, I understand the complexities of raising children in today's world and what it takes to create and maintain a happy and healthy relationship.
